Baseloop Review

Baseloop enriches and routes B2B leads via a natural-language workflow builder, syncing verified contact data straight into HubSpot or Salesforce.

Baseloop sits upstream of outreach: it sources and enriches B2B contact and account data, then pushes clean records into a CRM so reps aren't building lead lists by hand. The pitch that separates it from a plain data vendor is the workflow layer — you describe what you want in plain language and Baseloop assembles the enrichment pipeline, rather than you configuring waterfalls and field mappings yourself. This review covers what's verifiable from the vendor's own site: pricing, feature scope, and where the evidence runs out.

What kind of tool is Baseloop?

Baseloop is a GTM data platform: it sources leads and accounts, enriches them against a stack of 40+ third-party data providers (LinkedIn, Apollo, and People Data Labs are named on its site), verifies emails and phone numbers in real time, and syncs the results into a CRM. Layered on top is an AI-agent workflow builder — instead of manually chaining enrichment rules, a user describes the target process ("score inbound leads and route qualified ones to the right rep in Slack") and Baseloop constructs the pipeline.

That puts it closer to Clay in concept than to a straight data vendor like Apollo or a pure sequencer: the value is as much in the orchestration as in the underlying data.

How it works

Workflows are prompted rather than clicked together field-by-field. Enrichment runs on a waterfall model across the provider stack, with an AI research step meant to fill gaps the structured providers miss, and Baseloop advertises that only successful enrichments consume credits — failed lookups are free. New records entering a connected source flow through the pipeline continuously rather than needing a manual re-run.

On the CRM side, Starter gets push-only sync; Pro and Scale add two-way sync so updates made in HubSpot, Salesforce, Attio, or Pipedrive flow back into Baseloop. Sync frequency itself is gated by plan: manual on Starter, hourly on Pro, and every 15 minutes on Scale.

Baseloop pricing (2026)

PlanMonthly priceCredits includedSync frequency
Starter€1492,000 (3,000-6,000 annual)Manual
Pro€49915,000 (20,000-25,000 annual)1 hour
ScaleCustomCustom15 minutes

A few things worth flagging that the pricing page doesn't spell out in one place:

  • Annual billing changes the credit math, not just the price. The advertised 10% annual discount is really secondary to the credit bump — Starter jumps from 2,000 to as many as 6,000 monthly credits on annual terms, meaning the effective per-credit cost can drop by more than half depending on which annual tier applies.
  • Credit top-ups cost more per unit than plan credits. Baseloop says top-ups are available at premium rates without publishing a number, so teams that regularly burn through their allotment should budget for a real markup, not just the sticker plan price.
  • Two-way CRM sync is a Pro-and-up feature. Starter teams only push data outward; if your workflow depends on CRM edits flowing back into Baseloop (e.g., a rep marking a lead disqualified), that requires the €499 tier.
  • Rollover is capped. Starter unused credits roll over for up to two months; Scale terms are negotiated per contract.

What we could and couldn't verify

We could verify Baseloop's stated feature set, plan structure, and pricing directly from its own site, along with named customers (Workwize, Enersee, Upscape, and others) that appear in testimonials there.

We could not find independent third-party review data. Baseloop does not have a visible G2 or Capterra review page with a public rating, its Trustpilot presence (if any) returned no accessible results, and a Reddit check turned up no discussion threads in r/coldemail, r/sales, or general search. That's not unusual for a newer product, but it means there's currently no outside signal — positive or negative — to weigh against the vendor's own claims about enrichment accuracy, data freshness, or support responsiveness. Treat vendor testimonials on Baseloop's own site as marketing copy, not independent verification, and confirm data quality with the 7-day Pro trial before committing to an annual contract.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Broad enrichment coverage via a 40+ provider waterfall, rather than a single data source
  • Failed lookups don't burn credits, which limits waste on bad-fit records
  • Two-way sync with major CRMs (Pro and up) keeps data consistent both directions
  • Natural-language workflow builder lowers the setup bar versus manual pipeline configuration
  • Unlimited seats on every plan, so cost doesn't scale with headcount

Cons

  • No independently verifiable reviews or ratings exist yet
  • Two-way CRM sync and faster sync frequency are locked behind the €499 Pro plan
  • Credit top-up pricing isn't published, making true worst-case cost hard to plan for
  • Scale plan pricing is fully custom, so cost at high volume is opaque until you talk to sales

Baseloop alternatives

  • Clay — the closest comparison for combined sourcing, enrichment, and workflow automation; broader provider and integration ecosystem, steeper learning curve.
  • Apollo — bundles a large first-party contact database with sequencing, trading Baseloop's multi-provider waterfall for one integrated (and cheaper at entry) data source.
  • Lusha — narrower tool focused on contact and company data lookup, weaker on workflow automation.
  • Wiza — LinkedIn-centric list building and export, a lighter-weight fit for teams that don't need full pipeline orchestration.
  • Artisan — leans further into AI-agent-run outbound (an "AI SDR") rather than positioning as a data/enrichment layer.
  • Lemlist — primarily a sequencing tool; relevant if the priority is outreach execution rather than upstream data enrichment.

Who should use Baseloop — and who shouldn't

Good fit: RevOps or GTM teams already on HubSpot or Salesforce that want enrichment and CRM sync to happen in the same tool, especially teams comfortable configuring pipelines via prompts rather than manual rule-builders.

Poor fit: teams that want a proven third-party track record before committing budget (none exists publicly yet), solo founders or very small teams where €149/month for 2,000 credits is more capacity than needed, and anyone whose core need is outreach sequencing rather than data sourcing — Baseloop's strength is upstream of the send.
