The vendor claims it reads pages two ways — by appearance and by underlying structure — which is the mechanism it says lets it survive site redesigns better than selector-based scrapers, though we could not independently verify that claim.

The extraction targets include images, links, emails, phone numbers, and elements hidden by default (accordions, "show more" panels), plus a human-in-the-loop mode that pauses the run when it hits a login form or CAPTCHA so a person can complete that step manually before the scrape continues.

How it works

The workflow is chat-first: install the extension, open it on a target page, and describe the data you want in plain language. Chat4Data then handles pagination and multi-page navigation on its own, exporting results to CSV, Excel, or JSON when the run finishes. The vendor's own examples put an Amazon product scrape at 120–200 credits and a Google Maps pull at 40–80 credits. Do the math on Pro ($10 for 2,000 credits, or $0.50 per 100 credits) and a single Amazon-style scrape lands around $0.60–$1.00 in included credits. That's reasonable for occasional use, but the add-on rate is where the real cost lives: extra credits beyond your monthly allotment cost $1 per 100 on both paid plans — roughly double the effective per-credit rate built into Pro, and more than double Max's rate ($0.4375 per 100). Anyone running frequent jobs that blow past the monthly allotment should expect their real cost per scrape to climb well above the plan sticker price. Yearly billing is advertised at a 30% discount, which would narrow that gap if credits scale with it, but we could not confirm annual credit terms from the pages fetched.

What we could and couldn't verify

We could confirm pricing, credit costs, and feature claims directly from Chat4Data's own site. We could not find independent third-party reviews: G2 and Trustpilot pages either don't exist for this product or were not accessible, and a search for community discussion (Reddit, forums) turned up nothing substantive to cite. That means every reliability, accuracy, and "survives site redesigns" claim in this review is the vendor's own framing, not something borne out by outside evidence. Treat this as a tool with no public track record yet rather than one with a bad one — but budget a small trial run before committing a paid plan to anything mission-critical.
