FinalScout finds professional email addresses from LinkedIn profiles and company domains, verifies them as part of every plan, and layers on an AI writing tool to draft the first outreach email. It sits closer to a LinkedIn-based contact finder than a full outbound platform: no sending or sequencing is built in. This review covers what's actually in each plan, where the credit math gets confusing, and what we could and couldn't confirm independently.
| Best for | Recruiters, freelancers, and small teams doing LinkedIn-based prospecting |
| Starting price | $0 free tier; paid plans start at $50/month (Solo) |
| Real cost per credit | Flat $1 per email-finding credit at every subscription tier — no volume discount on the plan itself |
| Setup speed | Minutes: install the Chrome extension or use the web app, no domain/DNS work involved |
| Standout feature | Verification bundled free into every tier, including AI-drafted email copy at half the credit cost |
| Biggest caveat | Bulk top-up credit pricing isn't published; higher tiers add seats and concurrency, not a cheaper per-credit rate |
| Third-party rating | Not independently verified — see below |
FinalScout locates a person's professional email address, typically starting from a LinkedIn profile or a company domain, then runs it through built-in verification before you export it. On top of that, it adds an AI writing layer (branded EmailAI, powered by OpenAI) that drafts a personalized first email using whatever profile and company data it pulled. The vendor claims a database of roughly 500 million professional profiles, 20 million companies, and 200 million email addresses, and states the service is built to be GDPR and CCPA compliant in how it handles that contact data — vendor claims we're relaying, not independently auditing.
It explicitly doesn't send emails, run multi-step sequences, or manage replies — it's a sourcing-and-drafting layer meant to feed into whatever sends your mail, whether that's Gmail directly or a separate sequencer.
Install the Chrome extension to pull emails while browsing LinkedIn, or use the web app to scrape a list of profiles or a company domain in bulk. Free-tier accounts run one scrape task at a time capped at 100 profiles; paid tiers raise both concurrency and the per-scrape ceiling to 2,500 profiles. Every found address is verified automatically at no extra charge — a genuine point of difference from finders that meter verification separately. From there, contacts get tags, and you can export to CSV or fire the AI writer to draft a message per contact first. API and webhook access are included from the entry paid tier, so the finding step can be pulled into an external workflow rather than run manually.
| Plan | Monthly price | Credits included | Cost per credit | Team seats |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | Unlimited single lookups (100-profile scrape cap) | — | 1 |
| Solo | $50 | ~50 | $1.00 | 1 |
| Team | $100 | ~100 | $1.00 | 2 |
| Business | $300 | ~300 | $1.00 | 10 |
| Corporate | $800 | ~800 | $1.00 | 50 |
The credit math doesn't behave like typical volume pricing: every tier works out to exactly $1 per email-finding credit — a finding costs 1 credit, an AI-drafted email or a no-email profile scrape costs 0.5 credit. Moving from Solo to Corporate buys more seats and concurrency, not a cheaper unit rate. The only listed discount is annual billing at "2 months free," roughly a 17% reduction (Solo effectively runs about $41.67/month paid yearly instead of $50). FinalScout also sells standalone credit top-up packs (5,000 up to 1,000,000+), but the per-credit rate wasn't published on the pricing page we fetched — it's gated behind a "confirm price" step, so budget for it to be negotiated rather than fixed.
We fetched FinalScout's own site and pricing pages directly for the facts above. We could not find an accessible independent review base: G2 and Trustpilot both blocked automated access to their FinalScout pages, and a Capterra listing at the expected URL returned a 404, so we have no third-party star rating, review count, or sourced complaint themes to report — and we're not going to invent any. Check G2, Trustpilot, and r/sales or r/recruiting directly before committing to a paid tier, since we can't vouch for real-world deliverability or support experience beyond what the vendor states.
Pros
Cons
FinalScout competes most directly with other LinkedIn- and domain-based contact finders, not with sending infrastructure, so weigh it against tools in that same lane:
Good fit: recruiters and freelancers doing LinkedIn-based outreach who want a find-verify-draft loop without paying separately for verification; small sales teams that already have a sending tool and just need a reliable source of verified addresses plus a first-draft assist.
Poor fit: teams that want finding, verification, sequencing, and sending in one subscription (look at Apollo or Instantly instead); high-volume outbound operations, since the flat $1/credit rate doesn't get cheaper at scale; anyone who needs a documented third-party track record before buying, since we couldn't surface one during this review.
