Growmatik Review

Growmatik (now ConvesioConvert) automates email, popups, and on-site personalization for WooCommerce stores, with plans from $49 to $999+ a month.

Growmatik no longer operates under that name: the product now trades as ConvesioConvert, part of the Convesio hosting company, and growmatik.ai redirects straight to convesio.com/convert. The tool itself is unchanged in purpose — omni-channel marketing automation built specifically for WordPress and WooCommerce stores. This review covers what it does, what it actually costs, and who it fits, using the current ConvesioConvert site as the source of truth since the old Growmatik branding is retired.

What kind of tool is Growmatik / ConvesioConvert?

It's a marketing automation and personalization suite bolted onto WordPress and WooCommerce rather than a general-purpose ESP. It watches on-site and purchase behavior, segments visitors and customers against that behavior, and then acts across three channels from one dashboard: email campaigns, popups, and dynamic on-site content that changes depending on who's looking at it. Pre-built workflow templates cover the common ecommerce lifecycle moments — abandoned cart, win-back, post-purchase upsell — so a store doesn't have to build automations from a blank canvas.

This is lifecycle and retention marketing for an online store, not a cold outreach or prospecting tool, and it has no sending-inbox, domain, or deliverability-infrastructure component at all — it sends through your connected account against your own WooCommerce contact list.

How it works

Setup runs through a WordPress/WooCommerce plugin connection rather than a standalone app. Once connected, ConvesioConvert reads store and visitor data to build audience segments (including RFM — recency, frequency, monetary — segmentation on Growth and up), then lets you assign automations, campaigns, popups, and personalized page blocks to those segments from a shared builder. A bundled AI tool (branded ConvertAI) drafts email copy from a prompt, and analytics tie automations back to attributed revenue. All plans include unlimited contacts and unlimited email sends — the metered unit is "marketing audience," not list size or send volume, which is a more generous send policy than most ESPs offer at these price points.

PlanMonthly priceMarketing audience capAutomationsTeam members
Starter$492,500201
Growth$19910,000505
Pro$39925,000Unlimited10
Elite$999+100,000UnlimitedUnlimited

All four tiers carry a 14-day free trial and renew monthly. The real-cost detail worth flagging: the vendor states plainly that if your marketing audience exceeds the plan's cap, the account is automatically upgraded to the next tier with a prorated charge for the remaining billing days — there's no soft warning-only mode. For a fast-growing store that's a fair trade for uninterrupted sending, but it means the sticker price on any tier is a floor, not a ceiling, once your audience is near a cap. Note also that jumping from Starter to Growth is a $150/month step and Growth to Pro is another $200/month — the curve is steep relative to competitors that price audience tiers more incrementally.

What we could and couldn't verify

We could verify current features and pricing directly from the ConvesioConvert site, and the Growmatik-to-ConvesioConvert rebrand is confirmed by the domain redirect. What we could not find: any independent review presence. A search for third-party sentiment on both the Growmatik and ConvesioConvert names turned up no G2, Trustpilot, or Capterra listing with a meaningful review count, and no Reddit threads discussing hands-on experience with the product under either name. That's a data gap worth naming plainly rather than papering over — it means prospective buyers are relying on the vendor's own claims and the 14-day trial, not aggregated user sentiment, to judge fit.

Pros and cons

Pros

  • Unlimited contacts and unlimited email sends on every paid plan, including Starter
  • Three channels (email, popups, site personalization) in one segment-driven builder instead of stitched-together tools
  • RFM segmentation and an AI copy assistant included starting on Growth
  • Deep, purpose-built WooCommerce integration rather than a generic ecommerce plugin
  • 14-day free trial on all tiers

Cons

  • No independent review data found to corroborate vendor claims
  • Automatic prorated upgrades on exceeding the audience cap, with no soft-limit option
  • Locked to the WordPress/WooCommerce ecosystem — not usable on other store platforms
  • Sizable price jumps between tiers ($49 to $199 to $399)
  • Recent rebrand (Growmatik to ConvesioConvert) means historical reviews and search results may not transfer to the current product name

Alternatives

  • Mailchimp — broader ESP with its own automation and segmentation, not WooCommerce-specific but far larger install base and review footprint.
  • Klaviyo — ecommerce-focused email and SMS automation with deep segmentation, popular on Shopify but also supports WooCommerce.
  • OptinMonster — popups and on-site conversion tools without the full email-automation layer; often paired with a separate ESP.
  • Omnisend — ecommerce automation across email, SMS, and push, with native WooCommerce support and a larger public review base.
  • AutomateWoo — a WooCommerce-native automation plugin, self-hosted and lower-cost, for stores that want automation without a SaaS subscription.

Who should use it — and who shouldn't

Good fit: WooCommerce or WordPress-based stores that want email, popups, and on-site personalization managed from one segment engine instead of three separate subscriptions, and that are comfortable evaluating a tool largely on a trial rather than a stack of public reviews.

Poor fit: stores on Shopify, BigCommerce, or any non-WordPress platform (it isn't built for them); teams that want to lean on third-party review data before buying, since that data doesn't meaningfully exist yet for this product; and anyone looking for cold outreach or prospecting tooling — this is retention and lifecycle marketing for an existing store, not list-building or cold email.
